2024 UPS System and Stationary Battery Training Class Options

Are you wanting to increase your Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system knowledge in 2024? Whether you’re a seasoned UPS system pro who is looking for a refresher course or a UPS novice just getting your toes wet, we are excited to offer ten opportunities to attend our in-person UPS system and stationary battery training next year!

Are you responsible for maintaining or operating the system? If so, our classes are the perfect opportunity for you to obtain practical operating experience and assurance you can maintain the system in the event of an emergency. Our class is also beneficial to engineers as it can help prepare you to make educated decisions when specifying and installing new equipment.

Meet the Trainers

Don Imlay has more than 40 years of power conversion experience in diverse fields including military aircraft, mining, power generation, oil and gas as a Senior Field Engineer, Circuit Designer and Technical Writer. As a training instructor, he has presented over 200 seminars and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the classroom.

Bob Liessle has been in the “stand-by” power industry for over 25 years as an Electrical Engineer and the Owner of American Technical Support. Bob was a successful presenter to IEEE in the development of a non-commercial standard that is now IEEE-1188. He’s taught more than 1,000 students and brings his specialized knowledge of storage battery systems, equipment and procedures.

Class Overview

Our in-person training takes place at our state-of-the-art training facility in Houston, Texas. Our lab is designed to replicate real-life situations and gives each student individual consulting time with our expert instructors. Upon completion, you will receive 2.4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

During UPS system training you will gain a better understanding of how your industrial Digital ProcessPower® or Ferroresonant UPS systems work and how to maintain them.
