We understand you may be hesitant to join us in 2021, but the safety of our clients and staff is our number one priority. We will follow a detailed safety protocol that is based on federal and local government health guidelines.

Our current COVID-19 safety procedures and protocols include:

Daily Screenings

  • Upon arrival to our training facility, AMETEK Solidstate Controls personnel will check your temperature using a non-contact infrared thermometer. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4° F (38° C) or higher will not be permitted into the facility.

Cleaning and Sanitation

  • Our team will sanitize our facility and training materials daily. Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes will be readily available. Additionally, the HVAC filters have been upgraded to MERV 13 grade to prevent airborne contamination.

Social Distancing, Barriers and Face Coverings

  • We reduced the class sizes, allowing each attendee to have their own table. The tables have plexiglass barriers to protect against airborne transmission of respiratory droplets.
  • Face coverings will not be mandatory in the classroom setting if six feet is maintained or barriers are between individuals. Face coverings are required when entering the facility, traveling to and from the training rooms and during breaks.
  • Lab work will be conducted in groups of no more than two people. We will provide a face shield or Arc flash shield when working with high voltage, which will be disinfected after each use. Nitrile gloves will be required when operating systems and test equipment.

Breaks, Food and Beverages

  • In our break area, tables are spaced six feet apart and each is limited to one chair. To help maintain social distance, participants may use training rooms not being used for classroom activities as additional break space.
  • Each training day lasting five hours or more includes a complimentary, individually packaged lunch from an approved vendor. Any snacks or beverages provided will be individually wrapped or bottled and coffee will be made with single serving packs.

We hope these efforts help put your mind at ease and enable you to gain the invaluable knowledge our UPS system and stationary battery training offers. To learn more about these safety protocols, click here.
