We have taken over the manufacturing of the AMETEK Dixson Bargraph products from another AMETEK business, AMETEK Vehicular Instrumentation Systems. Bargraphs are panel meters that monitor critical factors in process control rooms.
Currently Buy Bargraph Products? Considerations for the Transition
Bargraph products were manufactured in Grand Junction, Colorado, but needed to be relocated. AMETEK Solidstate Controls was determined a good fit based on our similarities in client base and our operations and quality programs. Our quality department has been involved in supporting Bargraphs’ nuclear program for five years, making us a natural fit. We know the quality of your products is important and we ensure the design and assembly process will remain the same. The Bargraph products now fall under the quality programs at AMETEK Solidstate Controls, including the ISO 9001:2015,10CFR50 appendix B and 10CFR21 programs. We have notified NUPIC of the move and the next audit is scheduled for early Q4 2023.
Production of the Bargraph products began at our Columbus, Ohio facility in late March. We are trying our best to maintain the same lead times for a seamless transition.
New to the Bargraph Product Line - What Is It?
The Bargraph product line was founded in 1964 under the company name Dixson. In 1996, AMETEK acquired the business. These products are panel meters used in process control rooms for monitoring critical factors in commercial, nuclear and safety-related applications. They are highly customizable to your specific needs including scale configuration and color, set points and orientation.
