AMETEK Solidstate Controls Promotes Jason Cotton to Director/Business Manager
Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 3, 2016 — AMETEK Solidstate Controls (SCI), a leader in highly customized uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), has promoted Jason Cotton, a 20-year electrical manufacturing veteran, to Director/Business Manager at SCI. He now oversees all sales and service activity globally as well as manages the strategic operations of the Solidstate Controls business, according to John Ely, Marketing Manager for SCI.
Cotton has spent nearly the entirety of his career with AMETEK Solidstate Controls. He previously served for more than 13 years in various service roles, including Director of Client Services where he oversaw aftermarket parts sales, preventative maintenance and emergency service to industrial UPS equipment. His most recent position with SCI was Director of Global Sales and Service.
Cotton holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.
