The Series BMS2000V Battery Monitor/Analyzer is intended for permanent installations where standby power is critical. Through continuous surveillance of essential battery parameters, the BMS2000V enhances DC systems reliability, enabling the battery condition to be predicted accurately, and thereby reducing necessary maintenance. The BMS2000V continuously checks the health of multiple cell batteries by measuring and evaluating critical indicators--overall and individual cell voltage, impedance, discharge/charge current and battery temperature. The BMS2000V monitors and analyzes battery performance using digital measurement information provided by a modular and expandable instrument architecture. Each BMS2000V board accepts 62 cell input measurements, overall voltage, string current, and temperature inputs. The boards are expandable in a master-slave arrangement for easy system design upgrades. Two 62 cell input boards can be configured in a 3U-19 inch rack enclosure.
