Several icons appear on pages of information within this site.

is an icon for a linked web page on this site that has additional information regarding the topic. It will appear in your browser window and load fast. Great for skimming information. Not so great for printing to a laserwriter. Use pdf or rtf (explained below) if you'll be taking along documents for off-line reading and/or printing.

is a Portable Document File (.pdf) that can be opened using Adobe Acrobat. The Adobe Acrobat Reader is free and can be downloaded From Adobe Systems, Inc web site www.adobe.com. If you install the Plug-In in your browser's directory, pdfs appear from directly within the browser window. These are great for printing since they retain font and layout information of the original brochure or marketing document, yet are small and easily downloaded.

is a Rich Text Format (.rtf) file accessible by using almost any word processing program. If you have the correct MIME types set in your browser, clicking on these icons will launch the associated word processor for reading the rtf doc into your word processing program.
